Creamy Macaroni Mushroom Pasta Recipe

It's a Sunday and the husband is away in Manila for a month of training for his new job. I can't say that I love Sundays more when he is at home with us. What I really miss about this thing is having the time to eat breakfast wake up in the morning with the kids and us and me cooking our meal for the day. Next week will be his final week in Paranaque and I really look forward to the day I will be cooking a hearty meal for the kids that he is around to taste and eat the food like this macaroni pasta.






I love simple dishes that are delicious and tasty with sauce on it. That is why this Macaroni Pasta is my go to food. I love this creamy taste and it's also healthy. I only spent around 100 pesos for this recipe. 😁😉😁 If you love to know how I created it, read on for the full recipe

WHAT YOU NEED:

250grams linguine or macaroni or any pasta of your choice
1/4 minced pork meat or bacon
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil or cooking oil
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 minced onions
1 can Jolly Cream of Mushroom
1 pack Mushroom Pasta Sauce 250g
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cheese


HOW TO PREPARE:

Cook linguine or elbow macaroni according to package instruction.
Saute garlic, onions and minced pork meat in hot cooking oil. Toss in mushrooms and cook for a few minutes.
Add the Mushroom Pasta Sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes.
Pour in the Cream of Mushroom and water. Let it simmer for 3 more minutes or until slightly thick.
Season with salt and pepper if needed.
Pour the mixture over the macaroni pasta. Top with grated cheese.
Enjoy!



This serves around 4 to 5 persons perfect for your family too. I loved it so much although I liked to add some parsley to it. 😊 Well, maybe I will save it for the next recipe.
